The French Connection: Yann Tiersen brings minimal rock to Houston
If you've seen Amelié – and we're betting you have – then you've heard Yann Tiersen's music. However, Tiersen's work outside of the movies is just as compelling, and you can catch him live at Fitzgerald's on Saturday, May 19.
Tiersen began playing music at the age of four, when most kids are still trying to form proper sentences. Yet by his teenage years, Tiersen had decided to take his music in a different direction and shattered his violin before upgrading to an electric guitar.
