Fabulous. Fierce. Fucking awesome. Any of aforementioned could be the "F" in F Bar, Houston's lavish new gay club. Since its grand opening in March the GLBT and progressive straight communities alike have flocked to this Miami-esque midtown hotspot.



Formerly occupied by successful but fleeting straight clubs such as Hue and the terrific Saez & Zouk, the building has undergone a major facelift. From the point of entrance, you're greeted with opulence: glass tables, black marble bars and an stunning crystal chandelier that changes color to the beat. Every detail of the club, down to the wallpaper in the bathroom, has been fabulously executed by interior designer Aike Jamal.



Remember to hit an ATM prior. The patio hosts a convenient cash-only express bar so you can avoid the busier main bar. Don't have time to grab cash? Waiting at one of their five other bartending stations is no biggie – the abundance eye candy and be-seeners on the dance floor are sure to keep you occupied. From hotter-than-habanero gay boys, flawless trannies, to lipstick and tomboy lezzies, this is where Houston's A-list gays come to play.
