Sunday, Bloody Sunday: Andrew W.K. gets a hangover after ten years of partying.

As children, things like black eyes and bloody lips were badges of honor worn to show you were truly having fun with your friends. For Andrew W.K., that notion never really went away.

On Sunday, March 18, Andrew W.K. will bring "Ten Years of Partying Tour" to Fitzgerald's where he will play his debut album, I Get Wet, in its entirety.

For many, W.K. (which stands for Wilkes-Krier) is known as the man whose album cover features him wearing nothing more than a white t-shirt and a bloody nose. To fans, however, he's a man that promotes happiness, partying and generally having a good time no matter what you're doing.

I Get Wet made it to the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard's Heatseeker's List, while many were still trying to figure out if W.K. was crazy or just plain committed to his work. Nevertheless, his undeniable talent for blending equal parts of metal and rock turned more than a few heads, as did his ability to make every tour stop feel more like an impromptu house party.

"She Is Beautiful" and "Fun Night," two of W.K.'s most well known tracks to this day, are featured on I Get Wet, along with "Party Hard" and title-track "I Get Wet."

In addition to the five albums W.K. has since released, he has become a motivational speaker, television personality, music producer, record label owner and co-owner of New York City's "Santos Party House," a music venue dedicated to dancing and live music.

Catch Andrew W.K. live on Sunday, March 18 at Fitzgerald's when he plays one of the most memorable albums of the past decades.
