If you're in the mood for a hot dog and mingling with some underground Houston scenesters, make the trek out to Second Ward's Moon Tower Inn.The open air patio bar showcases a laid back defiance that is difficult to find elsewhere in Houston with its small selection of hot dogs (and only hot dogs), potato chips and domestic beers. 



These limiting options don't stop the place from being flocked by surly hipsters, musicians and carefree youngsters who come to enjoy the clandestine nature of the joint...and the hotdogs which happen to be handcrafted meats served on a soft pretzel bun and are innovative creations featuring ingredients like Cognac, foie gras, duck, and a rich spicy mayonnaise. Sounds like those hipster jeans might pop a button or two.
