If you can get past the frat-star feel of Lizard’s Pub off Westheimer just West of Kirby, this Houston pub and late night spot stands as a solid place to grab an after work beverage. It has darts, a cool porch, and lots of couches. Lizard’s has a great selection of alcohol but no beer on tap – sort of a low point. North Face and Polo reign supreme at this converted house, but it’s a great River Oaks pub and hangout. You should definitely make a point to stop by during a night on the town in Houston.
